What VeleStudio is

A studio where physical space, people, computation and intelligent technology meet.

VeleStudio is a creative technology and interaction design studio that creates XR, spatial computing and interactive experiences where physical space, people, computation and intelligent technology meet.

Founded and led by Erfan Soleymanzadeh, VeleStudio takes part in projects from research and concept through interaction design, prototyping and technical development to deployment, as a small, specialised team that collaborates with museums, universities, agencies, architecture studios and brands across Europe and beyond. City Layer: a geospatial AR prototype for historic streets

A self-initiated prototype that anchors reconstructed facades, period photographs and narrated stops along a route in a historic Italian city centre.

02Mixed Reality, Cultural Heritage·Studio prototype, 2026

Object Stories: a mixed reality guide prototype for museum collections

A Quest 3 passthrough prototype that recognises museum objects and anchors stories, exploded views and provenance to each one, tested in the studio with replicas.

  • Unity

03Interactive Installation, HCI·Studio prototype, 2025

Presence Field: a body-reactive projection installation

A wall-scale particle field driven by a depth camera, where bodies displace and attract points and lines and several people create interference patterns.

  • C#
  • Depth cameras
  • Hand & body tracking

02What we do

Five fields, one practice

Each field has its own landing page with definitions, applications, process, technology and answers to the questions clients actually ask.

  1. 01

    XR & Immersive Experiences

Augmented, virtual and mixed reality experiences for headsets, phones and tablets, from a first prototype to a deployed application.

  2. 02
Children playing in an interactive projected forest installation

    Interactive Technology

Interfaces that respond to bodies, gestures, objects and rooms: interaction design, human-computer interaction research and sensor-driven installations.

  3. 03
A developer writing code on a laptop

    Real-Time 3D

Unity and Unreal applications, interactive 3D environments, digital twins and spatial interfaces that run in real time on the device they are made for.

  4. 04
A person wearing a sensor glove controlling a robotic hand

    AI + XR

Language models, computer vision and generative systems placed inside spatial experiences, agents that see the room, interfaces that converse, stories that adapt.

  5. 05
A hand holding a tablet with a GPS map while walking outdoors

    Geospatial Experiences

Experiences anchored to real places: geospatial AR, location-aware storytelling, AR navigation and cultural heritage interpretation in streets, sites and landscapes.

03How we work

From research to deployment, or any part of it

Clients bring us in for the whole arc or for one stage: a feasibility prototype, the interaction design of an existing concept, or production development alongside an in-house team.

  1. 01

    Research

Context, people, place and precedent. What should this experience do, and for whom?

  2. 02

    Concept

One clear idea, the device it lives on and the moment it is for.

  3. 03

    Interaction design

How it behaves: input, feedback, guidance and failure states, in space.

  4. 04

    Prototype

A build on the real device in the real setting, usually within weeks.

  5. 05

    Development

Production code in Unity or the web, tested against performance budgets.

  6. 06

    Deployment

Stores, devices, installations and the tools to keep content alive.

AR vs VR vs Mixed Reality: what is the difference?

AR overlays content on the real world, VR replaces it, and mixed reality lets virtual and real objects interact. A practical guide to choosing between them.

How AI is changing immersive experiences (and where it is not)

AI gives XR experiences perception, conversation, adaptation and generated content. Where it adds value, how to architect it, and where it still falls short.

How does geospatial AR work?

Geospatial AR fuses GPS, motion sensors and visual positioning against a map of real streets to place content at exact coordinates. Each step explained.
